The Boston Terrier Club of Scotland was formed on 26th November 1971 by a small but dedicated group of individuals with the aim to establish a breed specific club to help further the Boston Terrier breed in Scotland.

The Club was granted CC status by the Kennel Club in 1998, with the first Championship Show of the Club being held on the 17th May of that year.  The judge elect was Mrs Connie Hunter (USA).

The Club presently holds two Breed Club shows annually, a Championship Show and an Open Show.
